Not every pallet arrives in textbook condition. Bundles shift during transport, layers compress unevenly, and bottom layers are notoriously difficult to pick. The VENTOFEED™ SR was engineered with these scenarios in mind.
Its AI-assisted laser scanning maps each layer in real time, detecting bundle positions, gaps, and irregularities - then dynamically adjusts the picking head's approach. Unlike camera-based vision systems, the single-point laser works reliably in the dusty, variable-lighting conditions of cement plants without calibration or model training.

It uses a completely redesigned bag-picking head with AI-assisted laser scanning device to scan, grip and transfer each bundle with exceptional precision, while the bundle-locking system stabilises bundles during separation and lifting.
Continuous operation
A set of driven roller ways ensures autonomous, continuous feeding 24/7. The operator only needs to manage feeding full pallets onto the roller way; once this is done, the VENTOFEED™ SR manages pallet changeover completely autonomously. The process occurs without interrupting the flow of empty bags to the bag applicator effectively eliminating downtime.

AI-Assisted Bag-Picking Head
The completely redesigned picking head uses an AI-assisted laser scanning device to scan, grip, and transfer each bundle. The laser scanner maps the pallet surface before each pick cycle, identifying bundle positions, orientations, and irregularities.
The AI processes this data to calculate optimal grip points and approach vectors - handling shifted layers, partial bundles, and varying heights without manual recalibration.

Portal system
The VENTOFEED™ SR relies on a well proven portal architecture - moving the picking head along precise linear X-Y-Z axes. Over 20 years of proven operation in cement plants worldwide.
Positional repeatability, structural rigidity, maintenance simplicity. Standard servo motors, belts, and linear guides are technologies already mastered by the existing maintenance teams operating on the packing line, no further training or support for external suppliers is required.
